28TH AUGUST 2001 WESTELLA & WILLERBY 3 V 2 CHISHOLMS This was a hard fought game from start to finish, and it was Westella who made the breakthrough on 25 minutes. Nicky Laughton scored the goal after great work from Gareth Wilson, who was very unselfish in giving the ball to his team-mate to bury with ease. Chisholms got back on level terms when a long ball to the right found Smith who put it away well. Chisholms then took the lead following another long ball to go into the interval 2-1 up. Westella attacked immediately at the start of the second half. Nicky Laughton latched on to a loose ball and went on to beat the keeper in a one on one, placing the ball in the bottom corner to equalise. play continued to be even and hard fought until Nicky Laughton completed his hat-trick on 87 minutes to give Westella maximum points
