NORTH FERRIBY RESERVES 1 V 1 WESTELLA & WILLERBY
Westella got an early free kick in the 6th minute which saw Chris Edmonds
shooting just wide from 25 yards. Westella had the ball in the net after
10
minutes after a long throw was flicked on and tipped out wide and then
crossed to Danny Rhodes whose shot flew into the net, only to be ruled out
for off-side.
4 minutes later Ferriby scored through Wainman who
latched
onto the ball after it hit the Westella bar. On the stroke of half time a
scuffle broke out, resulting in 2 Ferriby forwards and Mike Gibson getting
their marching orders. The second half was a dull affair with Westella not
being able to take advantage of the extra man. It took a curling free-kick
from Jamie robinson to level the match in the 80th minute.
