Sculcoates 0 v 0 Westella & Willerby

Some early pressure from Sculcoates caused problems for the Westella defence, a corner found White with a free header, which was cleared off the line by McGrath. Westella fought back and Turay’s shot was cleared off the line after a long throw. Sculcoates were reduced to 10 men when White was sent off after a fracas in the Sculcoates box. Westella nearly went ahead on the stoke of half time with a free kick which was crossed in and headed on by Eddie Turay. Westella kept applying the pressure but could not break the deadlock, the nearest Westella came to scoring was from a 20 yard free kick by Jamie Robinson, which hit the bar and bounced on the wrong side of the line. Sculcoates never gave up and nearly took the points in the dying seconds as Lee Benham was denied by Mark McGrath right on the line to enable the spoils to be shared!
